The regular monthly meeting of the Emmetsburg Public Library Board of Trustees, the governing board of the library. Please notify the library director by noon the day before the meeting to be put on the agenda. The meetings are open to the public and subject to Iowa's Open Meeting Laws.

Come enjoy at the library! Build a fun scene with LEGO and DUPLO blocks! This program is intended for children old enough to not put pieces in their mouth. Our LEGOs were generally provided by a generous grant from PACGDC.

Every Thursday we provide tables with chess boards and pieces for a chess club. All ages welcome with an emphasis on teaching children and new players the game. Light refreshments may be offered.

Join us for a baked potato bar with delicious toppings and condiments as we wrap up the 2026 Summer Reading Program. Drawings will be held and prizes awarded. For all those who participated in the SRP!

Mark your calendars for another one-man show featuring Duffy Hudson! Duffy will be presenting an all-new show in Emmetsburg where he will portray none other than the fictional character Sherlock Holmes. This talented actor's shows are not to be missed!
