Join us for a classic movie and tea!

Every Thursday we provide tables with chess boards and pieces for a chess club. All ages welcome with an emphasis on teaching children and new players the game. Light refreshments may be offered.

Preschoolers age 3-5 are invited to a program of stories, music, and movement.

Local resident Alice Underwood shares her experience--and samples of her work--cooking and baking with gluten restrictions, a diet she has been living with since well-before gluten-free sections were a fixture in grocery stores. Despite these challenges and restrictions, Alice bakes more than your grandma does!

Join us for a fun afternoon playing a game or games from the library's large collection of board games. This program is aimed at teens and adults.

Come to the library for a fun hour and a half of video games. A wide variety of games are offered from week to week with an emphasis on those that get the most players involved. A light snack is provided.

Come join us for popcorn and a movie on Tuesdays at 1 p.m.

Come join us for some awesome Pokémon Battles! We play the card game and the video game! A light snack is provided.

The regular monthly meeting of the Emmetsburg Public Library Board of Trustees, the governing board of the library. Please notify the library director by noon the day before the meeting to be put on the agenda. The meetings are open to the public and subject to Iowa's Open Meeting Laws.
